Lovingly made on a farm where people care about tradition and craft, and where they love to keep your food miles low. Only oilseed rape that's grown in the beautiful Vale of Belvoir is allowed into Heart of Gold oil.
Our fields are less than a mile from the pressing room. The seeds are cold pressed with care and attention and filtered for extra purity, giving our oil a fresh, wholesome taste you'll adore. It's a simple, age-old process that ensures you can enjoy a 100% natural, beautiful golden oil.
We harvest only the very tastiest varieties of oilseed rape from our fields in the Heart of England, storing them the traditional way in their own dedicated barrels, ready for pressing.
Other oils are often intensively pressed, using heat. But we cold
press our seeds because it means the oil is 100% pure and natural.
Cold pressing makes less oil than intensive methods, but we think it's
worth it.
We leave the pure, golden oil to settle naturally, then carefully filter it three times using simple and traditional methods - so you can enjoy it at its freshest, purest best.
Our experts use their years of experience to sample and taste the oil, before it's carefully bottled and labelled for you. From field to bottle in less than a mile.
